St. Micheal Church Alagapuram, Salem was created by Bishop Micheal Bosco Thuraiswamy on 27.05.1997. First Parish Priest was Fr.Pilavendran. He took the people in spiritual belief and developed the Church. Later between 2012 t0 2018 during the period of Fr. Christudhas, a Kebi has been constructed for Lourde Matha.
